To Those Who Dream

2017 GoPro Showreel

A film reel for all the damage I’ve done to my GoPro throughout the year of 2017. Dedicated to my family and friends. And to those who dream.

The Promise of Progress

To Those Who Dream. Thank You.

Even before I had a camera of my own I was heavily interested in filmmaking community. 2017 was the year I began sharing my work across social media as I brought my trusty GoPro Hero 5 action camera with me along the way to capture my experiences. As the year drew to a close, I revisited all those moments throughout the year and amalgamated them into a single high-energy travel edit – and so To Those Who Dream – Episode One was born.

The project has its roots in the sentiment that even moments that are seemingly isolated would later develop to paint a complete picture of my life and experiences – and that all the dots would eventually connect. All it takes is to have the courage to capture it.

I have been interested in dreams, really since I was a kid. I have always been fascinated by the idea that your mind, when you are asleep, can create a world in a dream and you are perceiving it as though it really existed.

A GoPro Film

This entire project was filmed almost entirely on a GoPro Hero 5 throughout the course of 2017. It is the amalgamation of all that I accomplished with the tiny action camera before shifting into more professional gear.

The film was composed in Final Cut Pro X and Apple Motion 5 and is the final full length GoPro film I released before transitioning to the Canon 5D4.
